You might be lost. This is a forum for professional car wash operators but you state you will not take the car to a car wash. Our advice is mostly going to tell you how to properly use a professional car wash which you are already set against.
I think you are going to have better luck getting...
Do you have cameras in the tunnel? That is the only way to know for sure what happened.
Were both vehicles fully on the belt? If so, the only way for contact is if the front vehicle shifts into reverse or something in the wash causes the vehicle to stop/roll backwards into the vehicle...
Not doing memberships at your tunnel is affecting your business regardless of the competitor. A tunnel with memberships (set up correctly) is more profitable than one without memberships, everything else being equal.
That said, if the new competitor is better in some way, memberships alone...
My express tunnel is closed on Sundays. We have a competitor that is very close, he is open on Sundays and we have a new tunnel coming in that will be open on Sundays. I am committed to remaining closed. It is good for my entire team and myself to have that day off. I believe an argument can...
Nayax uses cellular by default. If signal is an issue, you can purchase a better antenna that can be mounted outside of the box.
There is a signal strength meter in the technician menu that can tell you if you have a weak cellular signal.
We just purchased these... https://www.belson.com/Metal-Armor-Commercial-Trash-Cans
They have a hard plastic liner that pulls out to empty. You can also purchase a concrete base in the bottom to make them even heavier. Good trash cans are expensive but they should last a long time. We have...
There are two options to stop the charge with Nayax. 1) a stop button on the touchscreen - is that on the screen while running in count up mode? If not, call Nayax support and they can resolve that 2) wire in a hardware stop button and program the Nayax VPOS to use that signal to stop a...
Thanks for the input. I am sure I will look at Hamilton when it is time to replace the Unitec changers but I don't agree that the best thing to do is buy a brand new changer. These have been reliable for a long time, I wish someone still made one that is as good.
Thanks for the response. That is a good point about the contacts. It is a 17 year old changer and I'm sure the dip switches have never moved. I will try contact cleaner.
We have been using dollar coins for a long time. If you have any questions about changing over, feel free to ask.

I purchased a wash with a Unitec WashChange machine. I prefer to dispense dollar coins so I tried converting it. I have done it twice before on other Unitec changers with no issues.
When I change the dip switch setting to dispense 1 coin per dollar instead of 4 coins per dollar, it doesn't...
SAW works great for us because we clean our walls, windows and equipment on a regular basis. I recently purchased a wash that had not been kept clean. SAW was working but would have needed many applications to get through all of the grime. A more aggressive cleaner like Klean Wall or Acidex...
Here is why I am assuming $10-$11.
The inputs include percentage of members, price of monthly pass, and washes per member. I think 40-70% member washes is realistic. Monthly pass price averaging $30, and 3 to 3.5 washes per month per member.
70% members, $30 per month, 3.5 washes per member...
Your average ticket assumptions are off. Unless the monthly pass is set up poorly, you should not drop from $13/ car to $8. $10 or $11 would be more realistic and now your annual revenue is $600-670k. That should leave a nice profit after covering the additional expense.
I don't have a Laser 4000 any more but if I did, I would be very interested. That is a great solution.
I wonder if it could be adapted to Razor's as well. There should be inputs that the remote uses to move the machine around. I'll have to take a closer look at my Razor.

Are you running the same product at the same dilution for all three applications? If so, why not add the additional tanks and solenoids so that you can give the customer 3 different products? Customers will use the products even more if they are effective.
What is your cost per minute for the...
Can a card company use an existing card to determine what you need? I have some of the Unitec VIP cards that we no longer use. I can send them to you
