    HP Hose protectors

I swapped over to the Mosmatic comfort hose a few years ago. These things last forever compared to the regular high pressure hoses and they are much lighter. I think that I have replaced one of them over the years because of the environment/sun. The very few others that I have replaced were from...

    Hamilton ACW4 issue

I've had a similar intermittent issue on one of my goldlines, except it is when the customer uses a card (cryptopay). My apologies if I am hijacking. I disconnected the coin acceptors and that seemed to resolve it, but it happened again a few weeks later. I have duplicated the issue myself...

    Hotsy to Clean Bay Walls

I've been looking at buying a Hotsy hot water pressure washer for some projects around the house/shop. Was curious if anyone has ever used one to clean PVC panels in an IBA. Our current practice in the IBAs is to use a low PH presoak and run a wand off an adjacent bay. Wondering if the Hotsy...

    Razor - Stop Eye Fault

I doubt this is your problem, but the way that the eyes plug into the amplifier is tricky. I had an intermittent issue on my backup eyes. After a little heartburn discovered that the terminal that the eyes are wired to was not plugged in solid to the amplifier. You have to plug this in at just...

Belts - steel core vs fiber core

We swapped over to the steel core on our profile and are very pleased. No more popping noise when the wash starts. I have no idea what brand they are. We bought them through our supplier.

    Goldline .25 credit

Yes, tap is from cryptopay. I installed tap a few months ago and had this issue prior to that. Back then it was maybe every 4 or 500 washes. I've checked all of the wiring as best I can. I've got a handheld, but no ideas on how to use it to look for codes. I will look into using the handheld...

    Goldline .25 credit

One of my goldlines occasionally shows a .25 credit on the display. When this happens the customer is charged the full amount of the wash, but the wash is not triggered. I thought that this was possibly tied to the coin acceptor, but have removed both of them. Both of my goldlines have...

    Polybraid failures

I've had 4 failures on polybraid hoses this summer and I am starting to wonder the cause. 1st was a one inch hose that has city water pressure and supplies the touchfree. 2nd was 3/4 inch that runs spot free to the Profile. Approximately 150-200psi. This one may be on me for asking to much...

    Center boom maintenance

Those look exactly like our Mark VII booms. We did not have grease fittings until I added them. Prior to the grease fittings I would pull them apart every couple of years and clean up the pipe/shaft in the middle. It is a chore unless you have a socket and impact. The nut is nylon filled and...

theft device used on Hamilton changers

Pics from my place early Sunday morning. Blue Subaru legacy. He caused a little damage, but didn't get anything. It appears that it would be good for some of us to communicate about this guy.

    Jim Coleman Self Serve Issue

On occasion we will get a blocked nozzle. This usually happens in the winter and is typically a piece of rust from a fitting on a high pressure hose. Could it be that the nozzle is being blocked and clearing itself before you get to it? I don't think that we have had one clear itself, but it...

    How do you refund people?

They have an app called IQ Pay. It is much easier to navigate than the website. As best I can tell you have to wait until the transaction clears (a day or two) before you can see the actual amount charged on the app. It is not perfect, but it beats calling in or using the website.

    Grease fittings on Regulator

Kleenrite has the rebuild kit (K316), but you have to call. It is not listed on the website.

Cryptopay on a Wash Select II occasional double charge?

I had a similar issue with Cryptopay on a Goldline. It would happen every 500 or so washes. The customer would swipe and the Goldline display would show a 25 cent credit, but in reality it was charging the actual price to the card. After a minute or so it would clear that transaction without...

    Rotary Laser Recommendations

We bought and used this Dewalt model when we installed our Profile. I've used it quite a bit since then for other projects and have been pleased with the accuracy. https://www.dewalt.com/products/hand-tools/measuring-and-layout-tools/self-leveling-line-lasers/cross-line-laser/dw088k This is the...

    Laserdri Oscillator Motor

Thanks all for the help. If I remember correctly this dryer is 17 or so years old. When I bought this dryer a few years ago I was pretty surprised that this little motor was operating. I'm sure it will be a good time removing the set screws and the coupler from the shaft.
