Looking for a Mobile App for Self Serve and IBA

Can't comment on ongoing tech support because I've only had one issue that was addressed via email. My only comment is that after two years with coinless there has been no real need for tech support. I've had a couple of devices that have quit responding just a few times in that period and a reboot solved it for one of them. The other I think needs replacing but it's on a vacuum so I haven't gone to the trouble. FWIW, The system overall has been pretty reliable and does what it is supposed to do with very little effort on my part.
Thanks Greg, I was just a little nervous as they did have a issue right before we were going live and we had to wait. We now have our signage to install then we can launch hopefully next week.

morning, I've been reading through this thread and considering coinless/everwash since I installed cryptopay and they have what seems like a solid integration. That said, I went to the coinless app and the reviews are terrible for the customer experience. Looks like the app itself sends texts like 'claim your free bitcoin' and is heavy on data gathering of our end customer. Curious if any of you have experienced this and if you'd recommend using Coinless with all the changes it's gone through.

I’ve never used coinless/everwash but I have been using Touch4Wash at three different locations over the last three years. I have never once had a single customer complaint and it has more functions and tools then you’ll ever use. It’s super easy for both customers and managers to operate and it’s far cheaper than other options that we had explored when looking for an app. Each of our sites are on different hardware and software. One is on Cryptopay, another is on Hamilton, and another is on exact. The app works seamlessly with all of them. Customer service with Touch4Wash is better than any other customer service I’ve ever interacted with. We’ve heard about a huge range of issues with other apps but have never experienced any of them with Touch4Wash. That’s my two cents.

Never heard anything from any customer. My daughter, wife, and I all have the coinless app on our phone and none of us have had that problem.
Biggest beef for me for the app is it asks for a review after every purchase. Probably not an issue for the customer but annoying when you're the owner and using it multiple times a day for use around the wash.

Bottom line is for me the coinless app has done what they said it will do.

If you already have cryptopay you really don't have much to do to get the app up and running just signage basically so customers can sign up and instructions on how to use it. We have it in our SS bays, vacuums with card swiper and dog wash. You have to have swipers with the button so customer can end charges once completed using your services. It does not currently work on our IBA because that is a different pay station without cyptopay. We just started using in January and no major issues as of now. The customer service at times can be a bit challenging to get a hold of or at least a little slow at getting back to us, but do eventually get it taken care of.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't love that you have to have the push button on the swiper because I installed the regular swiper for the vacs for count down only...seems like you should be able to stop it on the app if you're able to start with the app.

I too have a problem with Cryptopay and Coinless/Everwash. I hate their system for getting in touch with them. Antiquated, and a terrible user experience. If all they're going to do is take my info and have someone call me back, they should have the basic tools - like caller ID - so they just log it without asking me every time. Or better yet, when I'm in my account, I just one click a button and all my info is transmitted to the actual call back team. OR...and this is just a crazy idea...just answer the phone with people the first time rather than a call service. So many better ways. Rant over.

cryptopay customer support through their chat window can handle pretty much everything, usually within a few minutes. In the many years I've had to have a voice call maybe once or twice.

Coinless is not nearly as efficient by returning calls but again it has been pretty trouble free in over 2 years of using.

Hey all - any self-serve only owners that have implemented loyalty app and have data around incremental revenue? I've been considering it for over a year, but never pulled the trigger as I'm unsure if it will drived added revenue to cover costs and beyond in a self-serve only wash. As well as I'm not sure it fits my core demo which is lower HHI and large spanish-speaking population.

Appreciate if anyone has thoughts. Thanks.

I have the Hamilton APP
Silver tier on Hosted Solutions for rewards points.

They have ss rewards for the gold tier
But that is the membership tier.
I am up there butt about getting it on the silver - going to call this week to get an update.
As Kimberly said - Customers love the app as its not car specific.
I m kind a partial to Hamilton because they are just 2 hours away.
Do you have any issues with the Hamilton App? I go through the app store reviews and look at a bunch of users who have it, and I see a lot of negative reviews. How do you like the Hamilton App?

Hope this helps... Not an operator as you requested, but work with many...

My guess is you are currently offering some sort of loyalty program (wash books, fleet cards, tokens, etc...) All of these come at some sort of cost. The challenge with some of these approaches is the tracking and follow up. Now you might be able to manually follow up on the folks purchasing wash books or fleet cards, but this can become very time consuming.
More advance programs automate the collection of contacts, rewards and reach out for you. Yes, this comes at a cost, but your time is also a cost. The time you spend purchasing and managing the fleet cards, fleet invoices, printing or purchasing the wash books, collecting payment and distributing the wash books, purchasing and distributing the tokens, etc... adds up quickly.
There is also huge value in knowing your customers. Learning their tendencies and hearing their feedback. They will let you know how to improve your business in a way that will allow them to refer your business to their network. Referrals is your goal - free advertising! Cost saving...
Not sure what systems you have reviewed, but I would compare the cost of those systems compared to your costs of the above mentioned loyalty approaches, and the time you are spending managing them. To put a $ amount to your time, simply take your annual profit divided by 2000 hours. This will give you a value of 1 hour of your time. Track the hours you and your employees are spending on your current plans. Compare that to the cost of the systems you are considering.
If you have competition in your market then you need some type of program to reward the customers that choose your business - period..

Bottom line, if you don't change your approach, how can you expect different results?
Hope this helps.
