I wanted to share a project I've been working on that I think could be useful for dog owners.
It's called K9Wash, and the idea is simple: make it easy to find self-service dog wash stations anywhere in the UK. Instead of searching through Google Maps, Facebook pages and random websites, everything is brought together into one place where you can browse locations, compare facilities and get directions quickly.
The aim is to build the most complete dog wash directory in the UK, but to do that I need help from the dog community. If you know of a self-service dog wash that's missing, you can submit it so it can be added for everyone to use. Business owners can also claim their listing for free and receive a hosted microsite, giving them an online presence without worrying about hosting costs.
The site is still growing, so I'd genuinely love your feedback. Is it easy to use? Is there anything you'd like to see added? Are there features that would make it more useful when you're out with your dog?
I'm not trying to sell anything. I simply wanted to build a resource that makes life a bit easier for dog owners while also helping independent dog wash businesses get discovered.
