What do you do with your waste from your RO make? It’s good water, it’s been softened, dechlorinated and filtered. Use that water for rinse. I run mine into holding tanks then gravity feed it to my automatics instead of throwing it down the drain.
I’ve been doing cc only for 15 months now. Love it! No more worries of break ins, damaging equipment, etc. Biz on self serve dipped at first, but now back up to normal. Automatics didn’t skip a beat.
Do you have cameras in the bays? Might want to determine the cause of breaking. If it’s happening frequently you might find it‘s a construction vehicle with a ladder rack catching the hose, or someone with a trailer. Then figure out how to resolve it. I’d much rather have a wand or fitting...
As with anything there are pros and cons and I'm sure you can figure them out. I have one each of touchless and friction and loyal customers to one or the other. Friction washes really well, but it is harder on your pocketbook with maintenance. Just so many more moving parts that break, get...
I use 2505 as well, gives good show and a little kick. I would rather go with 1505 as you can cut film easier with the smaller fan, but customers complained. So I went back to 2505.
Sounds like your spot free is on all the time feeding the pump? Could be wiring, whereas your spot free is getting the timed hot when the bay is active. Not enough info to tell, but I would track down your wires and see what’s hot, if any, when the bay is on and SF is not selected.
Flash dry confuses customers, they think the automatic is malfunctioning. I was getting calls all the time, so I turned that feature off.
If you can, I’d go with stand alone dryers outside the bay. I have onboard and wish I didn’t.
I solved this problem a year ago....got rid of all cash at the wash. I only accept credit cards. Did I see a dip? Not in my automatics, but I did a little in my self serve business. I don't know if it was related to the payment method or the weather....either way, some of my headaches have...
There will be trade-offs with any system of course, Ring wouldn’t be perfect, but neither is any other vendor. Just have to prioritize your needs and pick a system that best matches
I’ve been through several systems and haven’t found one that I absolutely love. The Lorex stuff has been my longest lasting, you get a bunch of cameras for a low price, but the biggest issue I’ve had with any system is the video management system. They’re poorly built, not kept up to date...
@FastLaneCarWash - Get a few extra credit card instruction signs made up. You'll see after a year or so that people will hit their cards just below your swiper as they pull them through. You'll soon have a bunch of lines/tore up sign right underneath the swiper. Thus, build another sign and...
still don't see the correlation of car washes and ice machines. boats don't usually stop by to wash before they go out boating for the day, usually they come in at the end of the day.
You know you can reply to those reviews right? When I get a less than desirable review for some bonehead reason, I put some professional response in there so others reading it end with a positive feeling. They also see that you care and respond.
