I doubt there is an industry standard other than hot, neutral, and ground. I imagine every manufacture is different as to the color of the wire vs the function they control.
It sucks when people do these kind of things but if I couldn't identify the vehicle I think the last thing I would do would be call the city. You may open yourself up to liability or fines or both. I would just hope lots of water went through the system to flush it away from my location as...
Why would anyone pay a mobile cleaning company to spray down a car wash bay, when they already have all the equipment to clean the bay already in place? Its called hiring an employee if you don't want to do it yourself. You don't need an outside company to come in and do it for you.
I have always had a fulltime job so I have always had access to decent health insurance. Now I am at the point in my life where I would like to quit my fulltime job and just live off of my carwashes and storage units income. I need to find health insurance for myself age 53 and my wife age 55...
As a storage unit owner, I can tell you storage facilities typically don't cover this type of thing. Every lease I have ever read specifically state they are not responsible for bugs, mice, leaks, floods, etc. A lot of leases will require the tenant to self insure or buy insurance as they do...
If yours has the same powerflex 4 drives that mine has, It will show a fault if the drive gets an overcurrent or any other fault. The drive will also show the run command which is probably what you are losing. Are you sure there is not something hanging on your door that is tripping your...
Could you get some anti-slip tape like they use on stair treads and put on the rails? I know its not a permanent fix but you may get a few months out of it. I had an old tire driven machine on a circular track and used to take a center punch and put dimples in the rails to give it traction in...
I never worked at or was ever even in a carwash until the day I bought one. I find carwash equipment to be very simple to work on. I have an industrial maintenance and controls background so I find the carwash to be the simplest stuff I have ever worked on.
Maybe you could just rig up something to spray a little scent in the bay around the drivers area. It wouldn't necessarily need added to the presoak to get the smell. The customer wouldn't know the difference of where it was coming from.
Anyone have the remote station with the joystick used for homing the machine they would like to sell? My razor remote went bad and I would rather just convert it to the laserwash 4000 style than replace it and have it fail again.
If you are not good at troubleshooting and fixing electrical problems you are probably not going to make it very far in this field. Mechanical issues don't require much troubleshooting skill so I doubt you would get many calls for mechanical issues.
