Yes. I agree. It’s not the Hamilton. It’s definitely a tap issue. Cryptopay customer service is excellent and has been working with me on the issue, but have yet to get it resolved.
You may want to check into that. When tap was working, it was used more and more as time went on. People are getting used to contactless payments real quick it seems. There shouldn’t be a decrease in usage. Post what you find out if there’s an issue.
Has anyone had an issue with Cryptopay cryptotap authorizing like normal and activating the car wash, but never billing the card or Apple Pay? I found out, only due to an honest customer, that for about a month, any customer that used tap, got a free wash and never was charged. When the swipe...
What I do at all my locations is have custom fabricated outer door covers (attached to the surrounding wall and hinged) that cover the whole meter plate and coin box. Then I secure the hinged outer door with simple cheap master locks and alarm the door. Never had a break in since, the perps...
I have a couple locations that are near homes and apartments. These locations are very busy all day and late into the night daily. I’m having real issues with the neighbors with customers playing excessively loud music all the time. We address it when on site, but most complaints come in the...
Yes, you pay for go green and site analytics per site. Though there’s a discount on analytics for additional sites. Not sure about go green, as I stopped using that, since cash customers get confused wondering how they get their receipt not realizing that it only applies to Cryptopay.
I I don’t even dispute the chargebacks as there’s no proof that fraud wasn’t involved since it’s all self service. Most of mine are idiot customers that don’t hit the “flashing green” button to end their charges and get billed the full $15. Unfortunately, they dispute the entire $15 so I lose...
In bay with count up. I have 31 bays total amongst all my washes and have had a total of 1 swiper ever vandalized since installing Cryptopay in 2017. Now deciding between Cryptopay and Nayax is a whole different problem. I like Cryptopay, but if you want contactless also (which you should) it’s...
What degree nozzles do you use? I’d imaging a 15 degree would concentrate the water much more than a 25 or 32 degree nozzle. Maybe less wide spray degree the higher chance of damage at higher PSI.?
Guy is full of s**t. I run and have always run all my pumps (cat310) at 1200 PSI with 2505 wand tips. Never had a complaint of paint damage. It’s not your pressure, it’s his paint.
Update. I got a hold of a route supervisor who immediately came to the wash to see the damage and photos. He was very apologetic and said he would talk to the district manager and get back with me. Next day I received an email offering to pay for damages caused by the careless driver. Nice to...
Those are 1080p Q-See cameras purchased from Costco a couple years ago. Great picture. Although, now in the midst of upgrading all my systems to 4k. Never can be too clear.
Unfortunately, I have yet to go there. Been going through a full car wash remodel from hell over the last number of months and that got pushed down on the list. I’m hoping to get there next week.
My father was having the same issue with his Chrysler 300. Pulled all fuses and still couldn’t find the issue. In the end, it ended up being a secondary security system that was installed at the factory and only active until the car is sold. This system isn’t used by the end user and is...
So apparently Sherwin Williams motto, “Cover the Earth” is taken literally by their P.O.S. employees. 😂 This is going to be fun come Monday when I show up with pictures and video. Guy trashed a brand new hogs hair brush, splatters the H.P. Gun and hose assembly, walls and Mega Vendor and as you...
I’d go $4 for 4. Just tell customers you raised the price, but you also raised the time. Make it sound like you’re doing them a favor. Also, you’ll then get at least $8 out of bucket washers and at least a minimum ticket of $4 for those that spray out truck beds etc. and leave. Maybe, the $4 for...
Completely agree. Refund once and give a little instruction and the customer will come back again and again. It’s all about customer retention. There too much competition out there and the way to keep a customer loyal is through above and beyond customer service. As long as you can verify via...
