Adding Credit Card Readers = Increase in Sales?

We went with monex. Not cheap, but they are a hit

Adding Credit Card Readers = Increase in Sales?

Yes, I would have to say so. April and May were also great months. I went with Monex and paid outright for the equipment. It wasnt cheap. I figured since we are in a cash heavy neighborhood it may take 7-9 months to at least break even on the equipment and within 3 months it had really gained...

Adding Credit Card Readers = Increase in Sales?

We added CC to a wash in a blue collar neighborhood late December 2022 that was entirely cash. Our sales mix is about 60/40 CC to cash, which surprised me how quickly it took off. Our average CC spend is 25% hire than our cash spend.

    Distance for Foam Generators

We were thinking of having the tee for air and liquid in the pump room, and running a single 3/8 out to each bay. Would the consensus be that it's better to tee close to the boom instead? I had a dream of doing maintenance year around from the warmth of the heater, but results may prove otherwise.

    Distance for Foam Generators

That's what I was half expecting to occur. I'll probably get away with it in the bays immediately next to the room, but the outside bays will likely need the generator above them

    Distance for Foam Generators

It would be a separate gun

    Distance for Foam Generators

Adding an additional LP system for bug remover next week on a 4 bay SS, pump room in middle of building. I want to use foam generators, and was planning to include them in the pump room before it runs out to each bay instead of in the trough. I guesstimate it might be a 30 foot run from foam...

    It’s time to refurbish!

Nice job, it looks great! Smart decision shutting down. We renovated our wash one-half at a time to avoid shutting down and it was a mistake.

    New income streams

Any chance you can DM or post some pictures of what it looks like? I've got some ideas in my head but would love to see a real life example

    New income streams

We removed an old IBA last month at one of our sites and the economics and demand are tough for us to justify replacing it or converting it back to a SS. We've done pet washes before and its a constant clean up, worse than mud. Learned our lesson renting out a bay to a detailer before. I...

We are $1 for 75/80 seconds, basically enough time for one tire. It cleans up Fall/Spring. Gas Station next door charges $2 and we have a big sign advertising our air.

    Motor Starters

Appreciate the feedback. Im just running 3HP/3PH motors on this one and they dont need 18 amps. Ill size down.

    Motor Starters

I believe I do? Can't say for certain. I know just enough about electrical to be dangerous and keep the place running. I have two other stands that are thermals, so I believe this one is heater strips. Here is a pic of the cabinet - I took the bad one home to track it down, but otherwise...
