It pops off the sprocket at the end with a car mid tunnel. How often should they be replaced?

How often should you have to replace your chain sprocket? I know the one in my wash hasn't been replaced in over 6 years. The chain keeps popping off in the middle of my tunnel and I think the gears are worn.

I have CAT 310 pumps in the self serve I manage. I noticed that 1 pump isn't getting any soap out of it and when it's running the tank actually fills up with water. I'm guessing that the pump is back pressuring back into the tank. Just not sure if that's a valve issue internal in the pump or if...

No heaters in the ceiling of the bays just floor heaters. They are ethanol that runs through a boiler type.
