How fast is the fast forward on the Qsee DVR? My current DVR is very slow and when I am searching for someone who did something it takes forever.
I think 16x. However, it has an event based search option that wil pick up motion. That usually makes it pretty easy to find something.

They are dumping all the old technology systems to make way for 1080p. The price for 1080p systems has been falling too. I will never buy another analog system.

I’m glad you posted this washmee, I’ve got 16 camera, 16 Channel HD camera system that’s been waiting for me to install. I don’t recall what I paid for it, I think it was around $2500. My son sells and installs these systems, he got the system for me. The difference between the 1080 HD cameras and the analog camera system is like night and day, so much clearer, the clarity is excellent. You need to use a high quality HD monitor.

I just put in a bunch of IP systems 1080P the price has really fallen and the quality is amazing. 4TB drives for $150. Really amazing.
