Kleen Pac Hyper Concentrates

Is there any reason why most of you guys don't just get a chemical rep/distributor instead of ordering from KR?

Then you have someone that will:
-Deliver for free
-Do your whole setup for no cost
-Generally have a better understanding of what works and what doesn't (product knowledge)

I do both. I can only order once a month from dist. Delivery isn't free anymore. They are stopping the every month titration and going to quarterly. Different chem rep is using 3rd party delivery. I use them mostly for IBA and KR for ss products.

I have never paid for delivery through KR, local rep/distributor straight up told us they can't compete with pricing. Local rep is also way over busy so communication/time of service is lacking. The wash is at where I work full time and I fully enjoy being involved with the wash as it gets me out of the office and off the phones/Computer. We barely change products so once it is set up, its most likely going to be years until we make another change.

The KR Ultra Concentrates mini PAKS are OK. We tried AquaGuard, Graphene Blast, and one other whose name I cannot recall immediately. Pricewise they were a few cents lower per car but the Graphene we purchase from our ChemQuest rep gives a better shine and show to the customer so we are moving back to Zenith (Graphene). Will use use up the KR PAKs in our SS bays.

Rep told me years ago that he provides a valuable service and operators are willing to pay for it with higher prices (Than KR) He said "You don't need the service" So the higher price couldn't be justified. Had at least 6 reps tell me they could match KR price / CPC . 1 did it with one product. The rest failed and some were lucky to escape unscathed.

With Kleenrite refusing to not use Tforce for my freight I got my first batch of Blue Coral High PH presoak in their hyperpaks. I am glad I have been direct with BC for years. I can also get the Armor All professional line. I know how to titrate and know where I want to be to clean a car. I will have to see how it compares cost wise but it is looking promising.

Hhow's the ceramic and fraph
Just got our Hyper ceramic and Graphene in, will update Friday of next week on performance. Reorganized the equipment room and I must say if the performance is good my equipment room will have a lot more space since the hypers take up so much less space. We use pulsatrons so our wash can handle such high dilution ratios. If the performance is good might try the presoaks in hyper as well.

How's the ceramic and graphene performing?

We have had terrible weather this week which is when I started using the Ceramic, so very few cars with the rain. Ill report back next week when we have a better idea.

Just wanted to give a quick update on the Hyper ceramic and graphene that KR sells compared to Simoniz. Both products have a good smell in the container but not as much smell gets out to the customer when diluted. Secondly the dilution ratio that KR says is a lie. They say 500/1 but it is more like 300/1 to get the results we are looking for. At 500/1 like KR claims the beading/shine/smell isn't what's desired. The two and a half gallon containers are convenient though. Overall at 300/1 is where we found success with it and at that dilution it is slightly cheaper cost per car. Just wanted to give everyone my two cents on it.

Yes, anytime I use a KR product I find I need to get my dilutions way lower to achieve a desirable result. What they put on the page is often unrealistic for dilution ratios.

I just a received a 5gal of their ssbay Ceramic Glaze to try in ssbays tomorrow. Supposed to be a pineapple scent. I’ll see how it goes.
Any update on this? I am using the graphene blast kleen-pak now with good results, but wish it had more of a show. Considering trying this new product; how is it going for you?

Also, I checked the CAS ingredients and they look very similar to the Deep Blue Wax from Kleen-Rite. Could they be that similar?

Sounds good, trying to see if the performance is much different than Simoniz graphene and ceramic. If nobody has any idea on how the two compare I guess I will just have to be the guineapig:sneaky:
Of the two, I prefer Simoniz Ceramic over Simoniz Graphene. I think in shines better annd makes the surface smoother - and I like the fact that it does not have any MSO in it like their graphene product. IMHO the graphene is more of a really high end drying agent.

All ingredients aren't listed in those, if the ingredient is below a certain percentage, they don't have to be listed. That's why you only see dye in some lists

I like the Ceramic Glaze. I use it as a LP function on the wand. The pineapple scent is somewhat noticeable but not overwhelmingly so. The product has the look and performance I would expect from a Ceramic sealant product. I have it on the dial right before a medium pressure NCS Rainx Graphene that I especially like the show and smell of also.

Do you have a dilution % in that video? Or a per-minute cost in self-serve? Thanks!

It is currently a pumpkin tip 57:1 on a yellow lo Flo composite injector connected to our Mark7 Jetwash unit. I’m not sure what the dilution would be for a hydrominder 506/511 if that is what you are looking for. I would recommend trying between pink, purple ,aqua or yellow tips as an educated guess for a hydrominder. Product seems to be working great 6weeks in. Only used about a gallon of the 5gallon pail so far but i don’t have a usage report available for the ssbays here. Only a 3 bay site. It does pair nicely with the Rain x Graphene and both smell great.
