Hot Water in Winter Car Wash

Hi all,

We've got a car wash with 2 manual bays and a D&S 5000 in an automatic bay in a small town. Traditionally the car wash had heated water with the old HydroSpray, but long story short when we got the replacement to the D&S 5000, the hot water system wasn't included.

What do you all do to get hot water into the car wash? Are you heating just the clean water tank? Do you have a separate hot water tank? Are you tankless? I have a self serve tank and then the automatic tank for holding soap and water.

We've got a blank slate to do what is economical, best and efficient. We do have solar on the roof. I mainly think we'd need hot water for the manual bay only, but it'd be nice in the winter for hot water to go through the automatic bay.

Curious of your thoughts, ideas and if you have any photos of your setups as we navigate this change!

i'm in new england and we use a gas fired boiler to heat wash water. the water is stored in a storage tank where it is drawn off as needed. my 2 ss bays use hot water all year as does my iba. my presoak on the iba is heated. you get the cars alot cleaner using hot water.
