High pressure wax questions

we have changed everything over to ceramic and market it, it has increased traffic at our sites since it is a differentiator in the SS side in our market still. Good time to increase start price or decrease time when you add ceramic

I just switched to the JBS product. Works good but the lack of fragrance is a bit of a negative. I don’t want an overwhelming smell, just something the customer will associate with my site.
The old Kleen-Seal with Teflon had a pinacolada scent they the customers recognized. I tried the KleenSeal with Ceramic and was not impressed by that either.
I may try the K-R KleenPak Ceramic next https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-72...yper-concentrated-sealant-2x-2-5-gallons.aspx
I already use KleenPak AquaGuard. That’s a great product too!

I'll probably try that simoniz ceramic on our next soap order, that looks good in the video. How's the smell?

The smell is very good, both in the bays and in the motor room. Has a flower/lavender smell. I'm using a beige 8:1 tip on my 511 hydrominder and suction feed to the HP gun through a flowmeter. My maths are mathing around a 200:1 which seems about right. Usage has increased too as I added signs in the bays. The right technique seems to be to stand back a bit and rain on the car versus blast it. Then a light spot free rinse and the cars look good. Even better when it has a decent clearcoat to start. I'd say a nice upgrade but I'm calculating a $0.67 per minute cost. I'm $0.75 per minute so not great margin.

Wow - you are putting it on pretty heavy, we are currently using a JBS product that has a nice smell and works good, it doesn't foam great in HP, but foams great in LP. We are using a purple tip 120:1 and then sending it to the HP pump, and it works well for us. At one location we add a foam additive, at our others we don't need to add the foam additive. Same purple tip everywhere.

This is what we are currently using for the tropical scent.
