Whats everyone using for high pressure wax. Been using kr brand but thinking of changing it up to simoniz products.
We tried this stuff and it works good and looks good, smell not so much, we dropped it due to the smell.
I'll probably try that simoniz ceramic on our next soap order, that looks good in the video. How's the smell?
Wow - you are putting it on pretty heavy, we are currently using a JBS product that has a nice smell and works good, it doesn't foam great in HP, but foams great in LP. We are using a purple tip 120:1 and then sending it to the HP pump, and it works well for us. At one location we add a foam additive, at our others we don't need to add the foam additive. Same purple tip everywhere. The smell is very good, both in the bays and in the motor room. Has a flower/lavender smell. I'm using a beige 8:1 tip on my 511 hydrominder and suction feed to the HP gun through a flowmeter. My maths are mathing around a 200:1 which seems about right. Usage has increased too as I added signs in the bays. The right technique seems to be to stand back a bit and rain on the car versus blast it. Then a light spot free rinse and the cars look good. Even better when it has a decent clearcoat to start. I'd say a nice upgrade but I'm calculating a $0.67 per minute cost. I'm $0.75 per minute so not great margin.
