Cryptopay Tap plus issue

Has anyone had an issue with a cryptopay tap plus reader where it seems to reset itself every couple minutes? The lights will randomly turn yellow, make a beeping noise as if it read a credit card, then after about 10 seconds it will go back to normal. This happens to all 5 of my readers at two different sites. The bays aren't too far from the equipment room. The swipers don't do this while it's happening. I haven't sat and watched it enough but I'd say it does it every 20 minutes.

Cryptopay thought maybe a voltage issue or connectivity problem but to have it happen at both sites? I checked all connections and everything is correct. Yellow, black, and the two red/green wires are correct.
 
We don't have those units but I know someone that had that or a very similar issue and thought that Cryptopay resolved that. Maybe he will chime in.

Hoping he does - any idea who that might have been?

Other than this issue they have worked fairly well overall.
 
Cryptopay told me that could be an older (4 wire) swiper and the Tap+ is losing connection with it. I have a few Tap+s that periodically flash yellow and, sure enough, they are connected to older swipers. I have not updated the swipers because everything is working fine and I do not see the flashing yellow as often as you.

My swipers are all the newer version with more than 4 wires. I wonder if there is something that needs to be updated though.
