Yep, I wouldn't care if I wasn't in the market for new boxes. I guess it's because I'm the one that services them.We have ginsan pushbuttons at 1 location and they do look better. I've also had to replace a few buttons in 3 years of owning this location, never a board. These units are at least 20 years old by my best guess. Real question is, do the customers care or is it just us as owners that care if its rotary vs push buttons?
In the past 20 years I've had a few key-washers come loose and the customers always find a way to twist almost every wire off of the rotary and short something before we discover it. I also like that the customer can switch between services without sweeping past every other and activating everything.
Finally, that it looks newer than grandma's 1940's Magic Chef stove top.
