duct tape. I don't want them too secure - in case a car hooks them I'd rather have the hose come apart than pull a boom down.My hoses keep disconnecting/falling out of the swivels on the booms. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you glue them, screw them, etc to the swivels?
That was my concern with screwing them. I’d much rather lose a hose than a boom. Not sure if the hose would tear if a car hooked it or if it would damage the boom?I use

Duct tape looks so temporary & trashy. We secure with 4 screws. When a customer snags the hose it unravels at the boom. The hose is made of plastic & the weakest part. Curious if that wire is to actually to provide support for the hose, keeping it from stretching overtime as it gets hot and the plastic weakens.Hi, it's Nick again,
Hope you are all doing great!
I've read a few things here and there and wanted to check them with the forum.
- In the mosmatic hose, there is a wire attachment that runs through the hose (see picture). I'm not sure what it does. Maybe it's some grounding for static electricity. Any ideas?
- I read in a Facebook post somewhere, where similar blowers were used in a different industry, and the guy explained that this blower must be used with a vacuum filter and release valve (see picture). Is anyone using those?
Thank you in advance!
