Would you rather own a flex express which offers full service and needs 10-15 employees depending on the day but it can make well over 2x the profit of a 4 SS bay + 2 Auto bay wash.
I just can't stomach running it. Seems like such a headache even though it has the ability to do huge numbers...
Sounds like you aren't planning on ever making it a wash again being you filled the pits with sand. I want the option to make it a wash again if needed. I am trying to figure out what gauge steel we need for the grates. Would you have a pic by chance?
It has a slight slant but very minimal. I think I could get away with the pitch how it is. I am thinking a metal crate like you would put in a SS bay. I would think those have a pretty high payload.
Just trying to think of anything else that may need to be changed that I am not thinking of.
I have a 100' by 30' bay with 14' by 14' doors. Also detached I have 6000sq ft of industrial space with 16' ceilings and 14' doors for a total of 9000sq ft of rentable space. I know car wash will make more but I am considering just turning it into flex industrial for passive income.
It is set...
Installing new IBA and need new menu/pricing. Current pricing is $7,$10,$12,$13. Thinking of going $8,$10,$12,$14 or even $10,$12,$14 with new PDQ 360, not a super high volume site about 25 cpd but hopping to get another 10 cpd with new machine. I am also thinking maybe start lower get people...
Here are my current dryers. My biggest worry is not being able to find replacement parts as you can see in pics they have seen their days. This is from a speciality futura setup they went out of business I think in 2010.
What is the most effective ways to promote a new machine? I thought about doing mailers to all addresses within 2 miles of location a free ultimate wash code they punch into a wash select ii which I am hoping the wash select is capable of doing.
I am upgrading to a new 360 plus and contemplating leaving old dryers which are 20+ year old futura dryers or doing new onboard or even new stand alone.
At the moment I am leaning towards onboards as I think customers prefer to do nothing, my bay is 38' so plenty of room. What is everyone else...
Ok the vote is in upgrading to the 3535! I have an old one I am going to take off of the old equipment I am removing and I will have that as a backup. Are these usually plug in play or you you have to change stuff out before installing a 3535 from one equipment to another.
Have an old touchless 15+ years old thinking of replacing but worried I won't get an increase in car counts.
What has everyone else experienced after installing a new IBA? Did you run promos to get it up and going?
What would be the best option to run free washes on wash select ii, I want to do a mailer with a code to all nearby homes for a grand opening so they can punch a code in and start the wash. I have the sierra site server as well.
Would you spend extra on an equipment upgrade from a general emperor HTCK4050S to a cat 3535 for an extra $1300 to get the cat 3535?
It is an option but not sure if worth it I know people love cats but the emperor line from general seem pretty well built says it can run dry for hours and the...
Personally I don't think anything you do will fix it, I have same issues and it is just not very good card readers that they sell. Even with brand new reader I still have issues but can take that card anywhere else and it works fine. It is an outdated system, it blows my mind how behind the self...
I currently have 3 column vending machine, vending micro fiber towels, glass cleaner wipes and armor all interior wipes. I am wondering if I switch out the armor all wipes for black ice "little tree air fresheners" if they would sell better? Anyone know if air freshers sell better than armor all...
How do you sort the quarters/tokens sounds like a pain to do every time you pull. Have you seen an increase in revenue or bay time since switching to tokens?
