    Razor Wash LP1 Pass Issue

Most likely the 1/2" check valve for the LP2 product has failed, and is allowing LP1 to back flow. Check both 1/2" SS check valves on the product manifold. Typically the O-Ring will have come apart, and has jammed one of them open.

    Low Pressure Problem

What are your liquid and air pressures? Liquid pressure should be 60-90 PSI for Tire Clean. Air pressure should be 20-30 PSI LESS than the liquid pressure. If the pressures are to close together, the Flojet pump will lock up.

Loss of pressure on cat pump

Very likely a faulty weep check valve. A failed weep check valve will leak some water back to the water supply, causing a drop in pressure.

    Washworld Razor - Bypass Valve

I am assuming you mean the relief valve on the check valve manifold is leaking. Typically this means the HP check valve is not seating properly. The 3/4" Fluid controls check valve is not a very good check valve. Washworld has changed to a different brand of check valve of much higher...

Cat 3535, water in crankcase -what to service first?

While the issue could be related to the inlet water seals, the issue is more likely related to the plungers. Either one or more plungers are cracked OR the o-ring seal on the plunger bolt has failed. Either issue will allow a direct channel for water to find the crankcase. Contrary to popular...

    New IBA friction? Any suggestions?

The machines are all stainless steel construction, and use drive components similar to the Razor touchless wash. The Profile MAX includes off-board sealant and spot free rinse arches to rinse cars as they drive forward towards the dryer. The intention is to increase throughput. The Profile ST...

    Laying out POS for IBA.

Agreed. 4'6" should be from the centerline of the equipment, not the door opening.

    Laying out POS for IBA.

Typically the face of the teller should be 4'6" from the center line of your door opening. It should also be located a minimum of 12' from the building

Anyone using Exacta for Payment processing?

Your issues are likely related to how the system is programmed. Exacta uses custom programmed counters in their computer to keep track of sales information. Unfortunately, there is not a lot protection to prevent the counters from being changed. Your report may be pulling information from the...

    Mosmatic spinners

More importantly, you will have to consider the horsepower of the existing motor. To run at 10 GPM @ 1000 PSI you will need a 7.5 horsepower motor. If you have a 3 hp motor, max you can run at 10 GPM is about 400 PSI. 5 HP - 700 PSI. Tips will need to be sized accordingly. 10 GPM at 1000...

    highway markers for entrance guides

We get it from Washworld when we order equipment packages. They send 2 tubes with an order of 40 reflectors. We usually have almost a whole tube left when we are done. We have never had a reflector come off the floor since switching.

    highway markers for entrance guides

Ric, Washworld now uses a new multi-purpose adhesive made by Powers Fasteners called PowerStick. It is a combination adhesive / sealant, and sets strong in about 2 hours. Fully cures in 24 hours. Comes in a caulking style tube. Works a lot better than the epoxy or the asphalt adhesive they...

    HP hose (protector)

I am a Washworld distributor in Ontario, Canada. Washworld has an upgrade kit available for their E-Chain setup. Basically the HP hose comes with a nylon spiral wrap, and the triple foam lines are special 3/8" poly tubing instead of rubber hose. This upgrade has made a huge difference in the...

    PDQ Laser 4000 u/c issue

Inspect the 1" check valve inline with the undercarriage spray bar. Its only purpose is to add enough restriction in the U/C line to prevent siphoning / line emptying. This is a special check valve with high cracking pressure (Strong spring)

Washworld Razor - rear meassurement -

Not that much. Maybe 1/4" larger all the way around. Definitely call Washworld Tech support to discuss BEFORE modifying the machine. There are software updates which address rear sizing.

Washworld Razor - rear meassurement -

We have installed several of these. One thing we have found is that because the mount holes are slotted, we need to add flat washers to the clamps. Otherwise they are difficult to tighten. Also, hole in cover may need to be enlarged. If your pit is open below the sonar, you may need to add a...
