We bought a car wash last year and had to remodel it. The equipment that was on site for payment processing was Exacta equipment. We have been having troubles with some reports and wondered if there is anyone else out there experiencing the same issues?

Are you talking about an Exacta auto cashier? If you are the best thing to do is replace it. About 2 months ago I tossed one into the dumpster.

The main computer only holds 366 days of transactions, so if you wanted to pull a 2013 report, you had to do it on new years day. Your question is a little to vague to help more though...

Thank you for your replies...I have heard on more than 1 occasion that people are throwing their Exacta systems in the trash. I would love to do that, need revenue to purchase new equipment.

The troubles with the reports are the odd numbers we are getting. When we do a shift report for 1 day it will tell us that we had some wild number in sales like 65900 and car count will be 39586. I have been requesting some training from Exacta and they do not call or email back to assist. They want me to go through the distributor. Our distributor has been unable to answers the questions.

When I try to get in touch with the folks in Canada they do not listen to the questions. I have spent time listening to what they want to say and asked my question again only to be talked over again. It was so frustrating last fall trying to get and answer. There was on point that the guy on the other end of the phone screamed profanities at me and hung up.

Randy, did you nave any luck at all getting assistance before you trashed things?

Your issues are likely related to how the system is programmed. Exacta uses custom programmed counters in their computer to keep track of sales information. Unfortunately, there is not a lot protection to prevent the counters from being changed. Your report may be pulling information from the wrong counter.

Your only solution at this point (If you want it to work) will be to have somebody from Exacta connect in to your computer system, and make the required changes to the reporting and counters. They do have a dedicated tech in Colorado (Chris) who is pretty good. He should be able to fix this, but they will charge a 1 hour minimum for the service.

PM me if you wish, I am an Exacta distributor in Canada, and can give you some further information.
