Has anyone attempted to replace the CPI bill acceptors in their Unitec WSII or Portal and install the new Talos bill recycler? My new Portals have the bill dispenser on them and I have eliminated quarters completely at that site, but am looking for a way to eliminate quarters as change on my...
Has anyone found a solution or software program that can be downloaded to a laptop to take the place of the Hamilton handheld? I would much rather be able to plug in my laptop and make changes than to buy and use the handheld that looks and acts like 1970 computer technology.
Thanks,

Spend $350 per bay and add Nayax card readers. They seem to be the simplest to install and I think can work with most timers that have a coin input. Don't even need that internet to make them work. They are already PCI compliant and you will need to be able to process chip cards by 2025...
Saw your post on Facebook as well....thought this would be a better place to reply. Do you have floor heat in the bays, or is a tube heater the only option? I have floor heat with an attic. I insulate the hell out of the attic and with the floor heat running, the Razors never even weep. I...
Installing an Etowah Valley foam brush change over kit on my self serve bays. Cool system. Got it all wired up and plumbed, but am a little confused on programming the secondary output on the weepmizer. It has a factory setting of a lower limit of -22 and a high limit of 113. I would like...
I have 3 Navien heaters for hot water, then have a single Combi unit for the floor heat and HW. The Combi acts as the master unit and will throttle down the floor heat if it needs to produce more HW. The other 3 units should more than handle all the HW so I'm hoping the Combi will just throw...
LED7 works just fine with Nayax. Does count up CC and does count down with coins or cash. Nayax and LED7 will both show the time used and the Nayax will also show the amount charged at each interval when using CC's.

My customers love my washes and they are loyal. I haven't had a single complaint. My time is very expensive! I can collect cash much, much faster than I can carry around the quarters. It's easier to take to the bank and deposit. I eliminate all the maintenance on the change machines and...
NO MORE QUARTERS! I do not have a bill breaker, but it's something that I've been researching. I think it would be a good idea to have one. Obviously, it won't make you any money, but I get the convenience that it provides to customers. Meters, vacs, and vending only take cash and card via...
I did direct mailer with a code for a free car wash after I renovated a location back in 2015. We sent thousands out in the surrounding areas and had a 1% redemption rate for the free car wash. My new location that was renovated this year, we did a grand opening and washed 100 cars in the...
I raised all my prices this year. Self serve bays are $4 to start for 5 minutes. $5 minimum for credit cards. Eliminated quarters all together. Vacs went from $1/4 minutes to $2/5 minutes. I've had a couple people question it and my response is always, "what do I need to charge to run my...
As much as I thought you were crazy, I changed that setting and disabled the cancel button on the Nayax and have not seen a duplicate minimum charge since then. Thanks for the help. I will monitor closely to ensure that it's fixed.

VPOS Button Function=Disabled? Is that the correct parameter? It was set to external cancel and I changed to disabled. I will try to see if this helps.

I have a question for Nayax users with count up. I am having a random situation where a customer swipes, activates and begins washing. After a few minutes, the timer stops just like someone hit the stop button. Customer has to swipe again, will run for a few minutes, then turns off again. I...
Anyone having issues with bad power supplies in the Portal's? I have 2 that I purchased and installed this spring. I replaced the power supply in one 2 months ago, and have a bad one in the other over the weekend. DRB was talking about installing "line conditioners" on the incoming power to...
You can wire the "door open" wire from the nayax to a stop button. It's the light green one. Other side of the stop button is the Gray ground wire and the Dark Brown ground wire. Simple to do. You will have to enable the external stop button parameters on the Nayax from the web portal. I...
