Has anyone tried either of these ceramics in their inbay wash? Once winter season ends we are adding a ceramic and retooling our wash, with a $2 upcharge for ceramics. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have used other simoniz and JBS products in the past but am new to the whole ceramic...
Waxman, thank you for all your help. We are running our ceramic at the very end after spot free rinse, with no other passes before blowers. The shine is definitely more noticeable after SPF but we have been noticing more water spots on vehicles after completely dry. Have you noticed and...
Thank you for the help. We will give it a shot and check on the results. Our top wash is currently $12 with the hot wax but with the ceramic we want to add a package above it for $14.
Waxman, is your ceramic going right before spot free rinse? or do you still run a beading agent after ceramic? We currently run in this order:
1. Low PS
2. High PS
3. Triple Foam
4. HP Rinse
5. Simoniz Hot Wax
6. Simoniz Seal and Shine
7. Bone Dry Drying agent
8. Spot Free Rinse
9. Dryers
Do you still apply a beading sealant after the ceramic or before? I know waxes would be before but not sure about a beading agent as we want to get the cars dry as possible.
Curious as to why you took out one of your Kondor's? We have enjoyed ours since putting it in except the wear items that need to be replaced ever so often.
Thank you for the suggestion, Have you found any good ceramics that are sold on kleenrite? We have been purchasing all our soaps through them for the last two years and have nothing but good things to say about them.
How fast are you using your ceramics? We live in the snowbelt so our one bay wash is usually pushing an average of 100 cars through a day during winter time.
I saw that simoniz has a ceramic sealant on kleenrite. Saw it was 225 for 5 gal. I just don't want to have to high of an upcharge for the product for the customer, as our area is very price conscious. Our wash prices are currently, $7,$10,$12
Hello everyone, I'm currently looking at adding a ceramic to our carwash. Looking for everyone opinion between two products we are debating by JBS. Here are the links for both of them. Also would you recommend adding the ceramic as an upcharge that a customer can add to each package? Or have it...
Kleen-rite has been great to us always. If you are able to order the volume you will always get free shipping, and the turn around time is great. If we ever need a smaller order we just use our points and get free shipping that way as well. They have an awesome soap guy also that is very...
John any chance you know where I can get just the new worm gear? I looked in the bellanger catalog and it looks like the motor and worm gear come as one part number. Talked to our rep as well and the part was for one unit with the whole gearbox.
Thank you for the reply! You have used them in your Kondor wash? It says on kleenrite it is for a Laser, so wanted to verify it would be good for the Kondor as well.
Hello, Looking to replace the 90 degree swivels on my Kondor KL2 when I replace my gear box coming up. I see that they are Super Swivels which kleenrite stocks. Does anyone know the specific part number for kleenrite for them? Or what size in general would be needed? Its hard to gauge the female...
Our presoak we were using in the past had a scent to it that was made by Simoniz. The problem is when we took the scent away from the customers they think they are getting a lesser product when they really are getting a better cleaning without the scent.
Thank you for the input. We use 55 gal drums for presoak. It says dilution is 4oz for every 5 gal. For every drum we would need a third of a gallon. Would add about an extra 60 dollars per drum. Do you know if it can be more diluted for presoak to save on cost, or any other options. $160 a...
Hello everyone, we recently switched to Kleenrites all system polymer presoak in our Kondor KL2. Cleans really well but only down side is that it doesn't have any fragrance to it. Anyone have a cost effective solution or product that is made to add to it to give off a scent for the customers...
