I'm looking at a SS/IBA wash that is about 15 years old with original equipment. It has been reasonably well maintained but the IBA, Istobal, has about 125,000 washes on it. Any guesstimates as an average life that can be expected?

So, this happened. It looks like they were cut but I don't know how that could happen. I stripped the wires and realized I didn't know how to get the little bits of blue and yellow wire out or how to keep the wires in the connector. Is there some crimping tool?

I had an ad pop up on Facebook about the Car Wash Show in November. Being 70 days into owning a 4 bay SS, would it be worth going? Is the show geared toward EE or is there enough information in the education sessions and vendors to help a new SS owner? Opinions and advice appreciated!

lol, yep IDX MA-800 is on the side. I wasn't at the wash but had the issue this morning. I will double check the door and maybe try reprogramming it.

I have mars 800 IDX. If I put a quarter in, it comes out the reject slot at the bottom instead of dropping into the coin box. It is not registering on the timer, so it is not being reading the coin being dropped. It worked yesterday, I swear! What are some things to looks for or adjust to get...

To update this, I managed to break the screw lock with a better quality allen and a slightly longer pipe to lever it as suggested by David Rolf. My next stop had that not working would have been an impact, but luckily, that wasn't needed.

I have a lock that appear to have gotten threaded. I have tried the pipe on the end of the Allen wrench for more leverage and managed to break the Allen. Other options? I presume trying to drill it would require a special bit, if anyone knows what size and type it would be appreciated. But I...
