One thing about the flojets. They absolutely must be primed. If not they will burn in about 10 seconds. Take the outlet hose off and make sure fluid is coming out before starting pumps.
I am really scratching my head here at this point. I would call my Coleman distributor in but I am confident that they would not be any help on this.
1. Tried 4 different timers all with different versions of B&C software and a couple that are working in other units.
2. Replaced PBC board from a...
I am not sure I would change out the Procons. While I have replaced a few on my automatics, I have never replaced my Procons on my Supersaver. Knock on wood"
Here is the process I go through. The wash usually shuts down with a VF drive error. I usually know which motor is causing the VF error. By how old and by how warm it is. I pull the suspect motor and test it with a meg tester. The tester says "bad" which leads me to believe it's the windings. In...
I know this is an old thread but I just installed the Marathon SS drive motor from Texas Car Wash supply today for my WW 1.0. Before I pay the extra $90 for a replacement SS motor I was wondering if these lasted as long or longer than the regular Baldor wash down motors that I have been using...
My Coleman bay and vac timers and doors are getting old and I want to do a total transformation away from Coleman possibly using Dixmor or Etowah timers. I think Carolina Pride has retrofit doors as well. I want to get a budget together to do a total transformation and upgrade all the human...
I am not clear on your problem either. If these are self-serve wand bays you want each customer to have the time running as long as possible. Foaming brush is usually one of the top services provided in a self-serve wand bay and a necessity IMO. I agree with Earl that this is a good problem to...
I know I saw a post on this earlier but was having trouble finding anything on ATM machines at car washes. I have a Swipe N Clean that I want to pull out of my vending/changer area leaving a great space for what I am thinking should be a through the wall ATM machine. Obviously, I want to...
Is this what you are talking about?

What Simonize triple foam are you using that you had problems with? This is a Simonize product but does not have wax and should be water soluble.
My local distributor has a good deal on 55 gallon drums of triple foam but they do not have fragrance. I was thinking about adding a gallon of wild cherry, water soluble, fragrance from my fragrance machines to each 55 to give it some scent. Anyone ever try this?
I am not a big fan of ultimate. I have Ultimate doors. Biggest reason is the use aluminum hardware that gets corroded which is a normal for much of the hardware in the car wash business but in their case all the bolts will break off when adjustments are required or belts need adjusted. If you do...
Install a wordpress site and use Optimizepress as a theme. They have great tutorials and you could have it up and running in an hour. I have been using it for three years and they have taught me a lot. No need to constantly pay web designers. Here is an affiliate link...
Reds, it sounds that yours is the same as mine. The welds on the weight under the cover has broken off multiple times on both of my bays. The welds that hold the treadle mechanism to the round stock also has broken multiple times. Over 100k washes on each.
My treadle plates continue to need welding because welds are breaking at various "weak" points. I am considering taking it out or just using the little plate and inserting one of these:

I am curious if anyone has had similar...
I tried KR a long time ago and bought a pallet of powder. I am pretty sure they supplied a free mixing tank. Can't remember what the minimum order was to get it though. Worth investigating.
What is the surfactant that you are using? I have been on Blendco powder for years but can;t seem to find anything that cleans as well. Have you had any experience with Blendco to compare to?
