My solution was to tile the bottom 4’ or so, and paint the rest. When the whole thing was painted the bottom was always the worst because that’s where the pressure hits most often. The paint above the tile seems to stay pretty nice for a few years before needing a fresh coat. Tiling the entire...
You sure it won’t work? The cone at the bottom shouldn’t be a big problem because there is a foam gasket under the rim. And the holes look pretty close to me?
Here is a picture of the Domel measurements along with a picture of the kleen rite motor. Key question is are the holes in the same...
I do change brushes on a schedule (for both vacuum and air shamee motors), but these darn air shamee motors still fail randomly. I have no issues with my regular vacuum motors but for some reason the air shamee ones are poor quality. Got any good alternatives that will fit in the existing air...
If you have 3 phase service, DEFINITELY go with the 3 phase version of the motors. I have both versions at different locations and the 3 phase ones have been flawless for 5+ years but the single phase ones are crap (I am always having to climb on the roof to replace motor brushes or motors when...
Had an “eco-friendly bee removal service” bring trash bags full of trapped bees and dump them in our trash cans. The bees were gassed when they removed them but as they woke up and holes ended up in the bags the bees would be extra pissed off and swarm all around the trash cans. They did it...
I will say you did a fantastic job sizing it to be as small as possible and fit *exactly*. I do end up taking the hydrominder tip out more than you would think though, like if the foot valve fails (see the other recent thread) and the solution is too weak and I have to pull in a lot more...
Very helpful thanks! I agree the hydrominder inside the tanks isn’t ideal (can’t count the number of times I have dropped a screwdriver into the tank and had to fish it out since there is barely enough room for my hands in there) but I like the idea of having it covered vs open like the Air...
In your opinion, which company makes the best triple foam system these days? Air Logic, Dultmeier, Gin San, .. any other options? From pictures alone the Dultmeier looks like the best design but mainly just basing that on the fact that mine has been very good over the years and theirs looks...
Build a brick enclosure with a super thick rectangular door for you to access the vacuums and just have the hose and faceplate sticking out. Think small and short equipment room. I have seen it at several places. No way anyone is getting into the vacs that way.
Thanks MEP. After doing some more googling, it looks like Dultmeier sells a version with the same tank but with a separate panel off to the side they has a motor and rotary pump. (Great tank design by the way - nice job!)
How hard would it be to convert it to use a flojet and mount all of the...
I have this triple foam setup at one of my locations and would like to figure out where it came from so I can add the same type at another location. It is well made and simple and only has one flojet and is very compact and I like better than the ones I see for sale now.
Anyone know who made this?
I had a guy spend about 2 hours manually prying into an Adams vacuum of mine. He didn’t get inside but he did a ton of damage. I saw it the next day and pulled out whatever coins were in there. He came back that night to finish the job and spend another hour prying the heck out of it. Once he...
Just redid all of the high and low pressure hoses on our roof and would like to protect them from the sun to get as many years as possible out of them.
Any suggestions for something to cover them with? I was thinking of something like split wire loom but since the hoses start in a large bundle...
Does anyone know the difference between these two models of MicroCoin QL acceptors? Q3130-DO and Q5242-DO?
I have a bunch of the Q3130s but they are out of stock everywhere right now so I found a used acceptor and bought it but can’t seem to get it to work since I guess it’s a slightly...
So there are two of you there for 49 hours each per week (7 hours times 7 days)? That’s 98 hours of your time per week.
That’s 400+ hours a month. Then you are paying an employee for another 10+ hours a day. Now you’re at 700+ hours of labor every month.
Sure you are going to make more money...
