I’ve recently had 2 ginsan sensotrons go bad in my SS Bays. They both started adding 4 credits per quarter instead of 1.

It is a cash OR credit card thing. Can’t do both on count up. Not sure on count down. I would imagine you could because the swiper is just sending coin pulses to the timer.
And just to clarify I accept coin and credit cards in my bays. (No bills)
Not sure of your question but Cryptopay is for credit cards and the question is always whether to set it for count down or count up.
Count down- swipe card for predetermined amount ($3 or what ever your starting price is) then the customer just pushes the button on the Cryptopay swiper to add...
I must also note that my wash was run down when I purchased it so when I added the new vacs there was a little bit of fan fare associated with that as well.
I wouldn't go adding them to existing vacs... 2 out of 4 of my vacs have them and they do OK. The only reason I have them is because I had to order a couple new vacs from an insurance claim. I have them set to count up at $2 minimum.
Can you mix different kinds of softener salt? Wanted to hit all the area convenience stores and pick up those sun faded bags of salt. I can’t imagine there’s much of a difference but wanted to ask people with more expietenve than myself.
