    Presoak in Rinse Tank!

I checked my control room camera to find my floor covered in blue foam! My wax hydrominder failed and overflowed the tank. This went on for about an hour before I was able to get the water shutoff, luckily it’s been raining and I did not have any customers! The mystery to this is somehow, during...

Where are you and what are your prices?

Fortunately, my overhead is low but it is tight! I'm planning on working my cost per min up some this year.

Need cat 310 with 5 Hp motor Drawing

I have the 3D CAD on the 310 pump, I could make you a drawing if needed. Do you know the frame size of your motor? It should be a 184T if its a 5hp 3ph.

    Hydrominder Anti-Syphon

I have a Hydrominder 506 on my soap tank. I've replaced the foot valve twice in the last two months, and both times I have walked into my soap chemical tank overflowing with water. I have heard of people adding an anti-siphon hole in the outlet tube on the hydrominder in case the foot valve...

    What was your worst customer?

I had a customer walk up to me while I was cleaning up an absolute mud mess in a bay. He asked some general questions about owning a car wash and commented on how disrespectful people are to the property and left with, "Boy, do people leave messes like this often?" I finish up the bay I was...

    Extending hose life

I too have 10' bays. I'm using 15' hoses and they last about a year-ish.

    Extending hose life

Curious on this too, my hoses "drag" on the concrete and eventually wear down to the wires. I've tried spiral wrap but it doesn't help much.

    Monex Terminals

Can you elaborate a little more on the reasoning? I’m assuming you would not recommend going with them.

Is this due to equipment deliveries?

    Monex Terminals

I know that this topic has been brought up quite often on here and I've read through the majority of threads. Monex is running some good June promos and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger, I wanted to see if anyone could comment on some experience with them!

    Mud

Same here, I have to clean my pits every 2-3 weeks. Most customers are good, its the customers that do a quick rinse that leave all the mess.

    Cost Per Minute Analysis

They are close! I would say we tend to be in the 25-30 cents per minute range. There are so many variables ultimately it's hard to average it out by the minute though.
