We've got a Hamilton ACW4 with the cryptopay conversion kit. The LED display has some burned out diodes. Is there a repair for this or do you have to replace the whole display?
Before I pull the plug on a new one, does anyone have something like this they would part with, new or used?
our wiring is shot on ours, and we can’t get the fitting out without breaking it.
I'm having an issue with low pre-soak pressure on my inbay automatic. We have an old design automatic that is an inverted 'L' similar to a rain maker. Our presoak is fed to the automatic and 3 self serve bays through one common booster pump. There are solenoid valves that control the flow...
Hey All,
Our in-bay automatic has a single tape 32"x5" treadle switch that activates the wash cycle when the front tires of the car touch the switch. We are having issues where customer's cars may not land directly on that switch causing the wash to time out. I'm considering having the...
In our three Bay self serve, I’m having some issues tracing check valve problems. Intermittently, I will have some water come back into our presoak tank in the equipment room, and it will overflow out the overflow discharge pipe.
Since the issue is only confined to the presoak tank overflowing...
I have an old (1990's hydrospray design) in-bay automatic with a Hamilton ACW4. We have updated the ACW4 to accept credit cards, and we've also updated our computer that controls our IBA and installed remote HMI so that we can restart from home if there is an issue.
Anyway, the ACW will...
We just installed a new NTI TFTN Boiler with a touch-screen interface. I have no faith that the contractor that installed it set it up correctly. When I logged into the interface, it was all set at factory defaults. We use the boiler for trough heat and floor heat and it is charged with...
Yes. Glycol is nuts. I'm the president of our local school board and we installed a new HVAC system at our elementary school and it's a '2 pipe' system with glycol. I couldn't believe the cost when we went to fill it up with glycol.
Our current boiler is 80% efficient and non condensing, so I think getting the efficiency up to 90+ and having it be a condensing boiler is going to be worth it. I just want to make sure I'm not getting screwed on labor. I have another outfit giving me a quote. I'll see what it comes in at...
A couple years ago I thought our Weil-McLain CG5 boiler puked, but it was a leaking fitting that we replaced. However, this time she's gone for good. I had a local contractor quite us to replace it and he quoted between $9 and $10000 depending on the efficiency we wanted. I know it sounds...
We run a Giant LP123 pump for our in bay automatic rinse cycle and the pump is about 3 years old. We replaced the last Giant pump after 30 years of use. There's been a significant pressure drop when the IBA rinse cycles and I'm wondering if this would be indication the that unloader valve...
