I'm replumbing an old pump stand. Just looking for some ideas on how to plumb the pump heads for ease of maintenance and repair. Something
easy to remove. Trying to clean up a mess of tubes / pipes / hose / valves that are not necessary and to make things simple.
Any photos anyone can...
Does anyone know of a vendor that would be willing to custom make a few custom meter boxes ?
What I'm wanting is somewhat of a Stainless Meter built like a Bill Changer (Face plate, 2" flange all the way around, Through the wall box, open on the inside)
No door on the outside, just accessible...
A little backstory..... I had a wash for a few years and was ready to refurb. Along came a buyer out of nowhere and made me an offer too good to refuse and I just walked away. Fast Forward to This year, I purchased a small abandoned 3 bay SS. Good building, 5HP 3ph motors, solid pump stand...
The reason I was asking.....
I have been playing around with different ways of plumbing my pump stand. I'm going to completely redesign and rebuild the stand this winter. I have a Dosatron that I have been playing around with. Had an idea of pressure feeding the high pressure pump with city...
What would you use the different types of solenoid valves for ?
Diaphragm ?
Pilot piston ?
Direct acting ?
Just curious what the best type for different applications in the ss wash would be.
I'm playing around with a VFD and wanting to build an inlet manifold for my pump stand.
Just experimenting around with a VFD drive on a spare pump/ motor. Thinking about building my own pump stand using them. My question is how do you wire the control wires to get different speeds ?
I assume you need a "3-stack" switch.
One stack to select what option, One to start the motor...
I had thought of this but I'm really wanting no hinge, door, lock, anything on the outside.
Plus I want to install bill validators so that's why I'm trying this idea.
Thanks
Working away at building my own equipment , pieces and parts to remodel my little SS wash. 3 Bay with equipment room
between 1 & 2. Would like to install New Meter boxes with equipment room access and no door / lid out in the bay. Something
like my Coin Changer. Just more secure.
I'm sure...
Randy,
Makes sense to me and simple enough. I see JBS has two different products called " Fonic"....
Which do you or anyone else like better ?
I tried kleen-rite " Sonic " recently and I don't like it. Smells terrible and just doesn't seem to
Work well. I saw Fonic and was concerned it might...
Randy,
After you mix your 5 gal. of concentrate (5 gal water with 4.5 lbs of powder) what ratio are you delivering it to the bay?
And why the 44oz of Fonic ? You say " mixed " so I assume your already using it as a high pressure detergent ?
