    Need Nayax Help

Thanks Keno, I am using 12VDC optocoupler isolation style relays. I am miss-applying them by supplying them with 24VDC. It's been 3 days and they've been working problem free. I tested this setup by leaving the relay closed for 20 minutes. When I did this, the small circuit board and relay...

Nayax question? Ask Harry the Nayax Expert

Just wanted to share that as of Friday 9/5, my wife and I became multi-site owner/operators acquiring our second wash. The new location is a 6 bay self serve, and it's outfitted with Nayax credit card terminals in each bay. I reached out to Harry to help with the onboarding process, because...

Washing out paint in the self serve bay...

Honestly, it isn't the paint washed down the pit that I'm concerned with, it's the paint that now stains my freshly seal coated parking lot that has me furious. This rocket scientist paid using a credit card, so besides having his license plate number, I also have his name..... What would you...

    Sealcoating Monday.....

So after a couple weeks of playing with my hot melt crack sealer score from Facebook Marketplace. Cutting out some decaying sections and patching with Aquaphalt. and the promise of 2 days without rain. The local crew is on site seal coating. We'll be closed today (Mon 7/21 & Tues 7/22). I...

    Old Super Wash

As a fellow Super Wash Owner, you've considerably raised the bar on what's possible.

So what would you do (self serve bay abuse)

Thanks everyone for your comments and thoughts. After checking my records, this was the first and only time that a credit card issued to this person was used in the past 2 years. So I knew I wasn't dealing with a repeat customer, instead someone who needed to blow their truck bed out. I...

So what would you do (self serve bay abuse)

So I come in on Saturday morning to find mud all over my parking lot and a self serve bay completely a mess. I review the camera footage and find this gem.. After looking through the credit card transactions I have a name. Turns out he's a local physician. What would you do....?

    Underground RO tank

I have an old Superwash, and I also have an underground RO water tank. It's white plastic. It's big, it takes about an hour of ~4gpm flow (3 membranes) to increase the level in the tank by about 16-18". And I bet it's at least 6' deep. Mine tank is on the same side of the motor room as the...

    Bulk Discounts/Group Discounts/Corporate Buys/Fund Raisers

My wash is located very close to an industrial park. I've been thinking about approaching these businesses for bulk sales. What type of discounts are owners giving for these type of sales. What are the volume breaks folks have done in the past? We currently sell preloaded gift cards that...

So, How do I work this thing? (reverse osmosis unit)

Thanks ! This was an adventure for sure. I started this project not knowing anything about reverse osmosis. And after pricing new units, I decided I could rebuild this unit for a fraction of what a new one would cost. Along the way I learned the fundamentals. Am I an expert? Nope, but...

    PISTON VS PLUNGER PUMPS

I remember talking to the guys from Cat pumps at the Atlantic City show. They told me if you are gravity feeding or otherwise have positive pressure at the pump inlet the plunger pump (Cat 310 style) is the way to go. If you need to draw water to the pump (suction), then a piston pump is the...

So, How do I work this thing? (reverse osmosis unit)

You mean like this bad boy? Now that I have this working, I'll invest in maintenance tools/supplies.

So, How do I work this thing? (reverse osmosis unit)

OK I'll leave concentrate (reject) at 3gpm. These are what I had on my phone, I can get you some better pics later this afternoon. I currently have "recirc" set to 1.8 gpm, if I lower that, pressure goes up. I see you recommended setting it to 1.5gpm. I'll see what that does and report back.
