My wash is located very close to an industrial park. I've been thinking about approaching these businesses for bulk sales.
What type of discounts are owners giving for these type of sales. What are the volume breaks folks have done in the past?
We currently sell preloaded gift cards that function at our wash just like a credit card and can be used in our IBAs or our Self Serve Bays.
Looking for ideas. Thanks in advance.
 
I have several large accounts, Fedx, Spectrum,PTI, BNSF,etc. PIA ,these corps want to do payables 45 to 60 days out. This is on token sales in bulk and I give no discount,none! I always put a hold on their account before they can charge if I haven't been paid. Local business I give 10% discount on sales above $ 100. State of MT pays me in 10 days , great ! Some middle management will promise 30 days but accounting over rules them every time.
 
for any org that wants a fleet program, we just refer them to our family plan, additional vehicles under one account get 50% off.

for fundraisers, we use OPTspot text club service, and they've set us up where orgs are referred to a website via qr code where they can purchase our wash, and 50% will go to us and 50% will go to the charity of choice via stripe automatically.

We have seen folks offering 0 - 20% discounts for fleet customers.
I would only offer the level needed to secure the business. You might even be able to secure the deal with no discount, by offering to streamline the reporting or payment process. This is where we can help you.
