Do the smart thing and go with the Dixmor LED-7 timer KR#CB0316WHICH DIXMOR IS BEST TO REPLACE IDX LTT800(LED8 OR LED7)?
Do you know if this is a drop in as far as mounting studs and having the same mounting pattern? I know wiring will be a little different.Do the smart thing and go with the Dixmor LED-7 timer KR#CB0316
I dont have first hand knowledge, but I understand the "little two timers" and "LED 7s and 8s have the same footprint, but wiring is different.Do you know if this is a drop in as far as mounting studs and having the same mounting pattern? I know wiring will be a little different.
I may have to buy an LED7 and try it, I have some LTT timers that are slowly dying and I don't want to go with IDX again, I like the dixmors more.I dont have first hand knowledge, but I understand the "little two timers" and "LED 7s and 8s have the same footprint, but wiring is different.
Randy had made a post a while back about the LED 7s demise, wondering if the end of Covid protocols gave the LED 7 a reprieve.
Well the time has come that the Dixmor LED-7 timer has been obsoleted by Dixmor. They can no longer get the processor chip to build the LED-7 timer. Dixmor will still be able to repair most LED-7 timers. They are coming out with the LED-8 in the next few months. It’ll have the same internal components as the LED-6 timer but will have a footprint of the LED-7. Only problem is it’s not going to be plug and play, you’re going to have to rewire the harness plug that plugs into the timer.

I've replaced all the led modules from digikey, MEP had posted the model numbers a while back. That makes a huge difference from the dim leds that they were.If its your display, I saw these sometime back, you may have to get KR to get them for you if they're still available (and cost effective)..
