Can you use industrial blowoff systems in a car wash?

I didn’t see any information regarding how much air is being moved (CFM). I suspect if this type of system was practical some manufacturer would have adopted it. This system looks to be similar to Protovest “Stripper” and several other systems with a movable/profiling top blower.
I suspect the airflow to blow dust off is wildly different than the airflow needed to move water droplets.

No I’ve seen those air knives used to blow of water really good stationary so imagine them getting close to the car.

And also I’ve seen similar systems used in car washes

They can work, but it’s all about CFM and nozzle angle
About that they offer a fully articulated version that flips the top contour nozzle 90 degrees and from the description it says the also offer side articulation. Which from my guess means the rotate and move in and out, and about the cfm it gets close to the car with a high pressure ionized nozzle so the cfm is no problem ether.

put them in your wash and report back the results 🤔
