Starting in a rebuild in a Coleman Hannah Power Pack, what is your go to regulators that you have had good success with? Picture for reference. TIA!

Seems like most pumpstands I've bought have a paraplate BR-5 on them. I can't say they're the best because I've never really tried much else. They do have to be occasionally rebuilt.

Does the plumbing route and gun (weep/non-weep) matter with the SMC?

I've used these for the last 20 years with great results.
We run non-weep, @1200 psi and it's plumbed from the head output (top) to the head intake (bottom) of the CAT 310

Nope does not matter. I use the SMC for my medium pressure presoak and paraplate for my hp regulator. It's how my set ups were built. I dont think ive changed any SMC but I have had to rebuild a few paraplates when they start leaking from the hole. Noting crazy though. Overall both of them are great.

We used the Paraplate regulators for years and are cheap and easy to "rebuild". We started noticing that on the better ones, the chrome was flaking off inside the bore (after they were about a year old) so the new o-ring did not last but maybe a few months or so. Combine that with the price that has really gone up on them, we switched to the less expensive SMC. Time will tell how long they last but so far, so good.

Man, one of the guys I got my washes from left me a box of these and I've just never thought about the application until now.
