XR7 quote

I got a quote yesterday for installing a new Washworld XR7. Install includes undercarriage, triple foam, cold weather, free standing dryers, in bay signs & speakers. I have an older Hamilton pay station that I added the upgrade kit & cryptopay on last year so that will be reused. Quote was 155k. How does this sound?

That's a really good price. I have gotten a price for Razor Edge for over 200k in New England (with install, no electrical)

The quote I received does not include electrical, or plumbing drops but i have a current auto in service that's getting upgraded hopefully soon. 🤞

That seems like a pretty good price. I had a Ryko Radius installed three years ago (no dryer) and it was $125k without electrical or plumbing.

We ending up ordering a wash. The XR7 was all we could swing however. Did opt for the tri foam package, undercarriage & power tower, as well as free standing dryers. I personally removed the old ssa & rails this past week (tons of fun). Bay is getting cleaned & a fresh coat of paint. Will also be adding my own color changing led’s. Ship date is supposed to be 9/5. I am excited & nervous. We have several large coming soon signs & have it posted on google & nextdoor.

Good luck! That price is very good. Which state are you in?

I just put in a razor Edge all new and paid over 287k then had to pay electric and plumbing separate - I already had electric and plumbing in the bay from old machine. On top of that I gad yo pay 4k in food and lodging 2 people for install which was include install was over 40k , now I have had major lines break from the incoming water line they clamped the high pressure hose instead of crimping/ now I had a hose in bay get a hole due to hitting the rail ( needs to moved down to come out of ceiling in the right spot) they threw a plumb fitting on it and zip tie to rail. My rails are all rusted at first week . I’m beyond sick with anxiety this was not an easy decision to make and going with this brand I was excited now I just cry because it’s not at all what service or equipment I received with my PDQ. I feel like it was a car salesman deal and now I’m stressed out to the max.

$287k!!! Who was the rep so I know not to use them. Was that the only washworld rep in your area??

I would reach out to washworld directly to let them know you got fleeced by one of their authorized distributors

Splashdash a liitle more context on cost please. Did this include dryers, doors, paystation, canopy, signage, softener, and etc? Surely cant be just the machine. Either way 40K install plus lodging is a complete rip off. 99% of your problems you listed seem to be distributor related and not washworld it self. I will say though washworld should be responsible for who they give a distributorship to. Keno made a great point contact washworld and give them the evidence. Hopefully they will be one of the few manufactures that care after a sale and make it right for you.

As far as rails rusting after a week do you know what they're made of? Galvanized, aluminum, stainless? Im not familiar with razors but I do know from seeing them and talking to owners that 99% are happy with them and washworld.

Try to find a good distributor who can fix the wrongs. It probably wont take much. Just one with some knowledge. Dont pull your hair out. You just need to get it right. Once it is im sure you will be happy.

Maybe post your location and someone on this forum can give you a recommendation of a good distributor/service tech.
