X10 coin acceptor

I am having touble with tokens. We sell aluminum tokens and the ones we are getting don't feel like alum. but the x10 still accepts them. I have reprogramed with just quarters and our tokens. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

Not sure I completely understand the circumstances, but IIRC there is a channel that you can set on the x10 to teach it to REJECT a certain coin. Maybe that would help you out?

Try this:
The coin you do not want to accept must be learned in position #1
Turn the selector to position #1,
Push the button 13 times
Drop the coin you do not want to accept in 6 times.
Turn the selector to #2 and teach the coin acceptor to accept the coin that you so want to accept.

Is it just one acceptor or do you have several X10 units that take this bad token?
