I would do 4 per bay but I'd configure either where half are off most of the night or are only on when someone is washing.

That's definitely overkill. Who would do 4? The company Randy spoke of has some with even M0RE lumens than those & cheaper + more attractive. 2 would more than suffice, which is what I am doing now.
To illuminate the entire length and width along all 4 sides adequately 4 may not have the distribution.

Love LED lights! Just finished the install on my bays and canopy. Went from 640w metal halide per bay, to 130w LED per bay. Eighteen lights in total.
Hope to see a big difference on my electric bill.

4 of my canopy lights have gone out in a yr. I gotta mail em back for replacements.
