Are they on 24 7? As a neighbor I may have some objections to light pollution but I do like a lighted up lot. To deter bad actors.

We have one car wash that we have to shut down at 10pm do to light pollution, all the lights except for one over the bill changer and one over the back door have to go. We fought tooth and nail and lost. The city revoked our business license and fined us until we complied.

Thats bullshit. I would sue them if you could. Every McDonalds, Meijer's, or any other 24hr business for comparison have pole lights and wall packs. Ive never heard of anything like that. Are you in a residential or commercial area? Even at my house ive got 4 lights up front, 3 by my garage, 6 out back, and another 33 outback too if I turn on my patio roof lights and im in a subdivision. Absolutely stupid what citys can say you can and cant do. If you pay taxes you should be able to do what you want on your property as long as obviously it's not something outrageous.
