I was curious to see what guys are paying their car wash attendants that also do all the mechanical work on the machines as well. So you have an idea of what I am saying, they take care of all the day to day operations, fix any issues that happen during the day in the bays as well as everything in the mechanical room, make sure chemicals are filled, put in requested for all chemicals and parts needed, refill the pre wash brush buckets, keep micro fiber towels stocked at vacuum stations, keep trash empty and clean up the lot, clean out vacuums, and deal with any issues that customers have and do any general maintence for the building such as painting, electrical work ( run new cables and conduit, cat-5 wires, fuses, and breakers) and painting when needed……..pretty much an all around guy that attends and is a technician at the same time. Also please put what state you are in and weather you offer benefits or not. Thank you and look forward to your answers.

How many bays are you running (I'm assuming IBA's) how many vac stands and what wash equipment do you use?
We have (5) IBA's, (2) self serve pet washes and (4) vac Stands ((8) vacs in total) We have (1) employee dedicated to the operation of the equipment. Maintenace, chemical usage, parts inventory. (2) addition employees for site and bay cleaning, customer service and minor issues. all but 1 day a week, we have 2 employees on site 6 days a week. For 1 person to efficiently fill your job description could very difficult depending on the operation size.
That being said, we pay $22 - $30/ hr. with paid vacation, Holiday, Medical and bonuses and are located in Anchorage, AK
