Some of the top meteorologists are in the agriculture industry.
They spend more time looking at trends.
A presentation at the Cattle Industry Convention in Orlando caught my attention.
(Weather is important for car wash planning as well so I thought I d share)
The presentation was long
But here is the highlights

El nino peaked in december
It was the 4th strongest El nino is 4 decades!
Temps in the pacific are already starting to cool
La nina could be back in place by mid summer
Pushing the jet stream back north into northern plains and Canada
Models and history show this La nina will return with a vengeance and may persist for a while.
With droughts returning.

Sunny dry and dusty has always treated me well in car washing!

I attached his weather maps

Thanks for the update ! Before I got into this business, my other business was contracting with the USPS to haul mail over the road and rural delivery. I wanted nice weather all the time that is a tall request in boondocks north montana . Now the last 36 years I want a wet fall ,snowy winter, wet spring ,just like a farmer or rancher I want to control the weather.

There's some talk of a pretty extreme cold snap in a couple weeks over the CONUS on my local radio
.

55° in Buffalo, NY today. Should be 30°. People in the self serves were breaking out the shorts and t- shirts. Funny thing is when it is 80° in the summer and we have a night that drops to 55°, people bundle up in sweaters. I guess it’s all relative! 😂
