Wax Issue

Hi everyone,

I have a Coleman Super Saver and one of my SS sites. 4 bay system. Having an issue where there is no wax coming out the of the high pressure gun in any of the bays. Thought it was the manifold block so I replaced that with 4 brand new solenoids, same issue. I opened up the needle valves all the way to allow maximum product flow through and still nothing but water comes out. Also changed hydrominder trip to allow stronger chemical dilution but that didn’t work either. Any thoughts as to what the issue may be? For those unfamiliar with Coleman, Wax function on this setup is supposed to be high pressure.
Thanks

did you check for the proper voltage at the solenoids when the wax is selected? Did you be sure to install the right type of replacement solenoid valves? On my set up, the valves are normally closed and when power is applied they open. It's easy to put the wrong valve in without realizing it. Did you pull off the line before the coil and valve and see if there is Wax there coming out? I have also had the inlet plumbing between the solenoid valve and my high-pressure pump kget so crusty inside that it wouldn't allow a good draw for the wax. These are some things you can check

Is the hydrominder drawing chemical properly? Low water flow won’t create enough vacuum to create the Venturi effect that draws the chemical through the inductor. Low water flow can be caused by a clogged screen on the water inlet OR a bad diaphragm.
My second guess would be a clogged filter screen at the bottom of the chemical tank or a clogged line doing to the distribution manifold.
Because this is an issue affecting all bays I would look for an issue before the pumps.

Exactly what's Eric said start at the mix tank and work your way toward the pumps. Im assuming your valves are okay bc otherwise you would have wax when the pump is activated....they are normally closed but if you put normally open wax would be coming from the get go.

On the coleman stands under the rinse tank each pump/bay has a ball valve. Turn on the bay...and start to slightly close the ball valve to that bay. You will force the pump to start drawing more chemical. Depending on flow the pump might start to "knock". Close the valve slightly go check the bay. You could have those valves wide open and with the metering valves on the manifold just not pulling enough chemical.
