Wash Cycle Pressure Loss

Yes thanks. However the plugged tip was on the gun that I was troubleshooting with in the working bay. Think the regulator and bad check was main issue..I turned drip off when I had pump apart then came back a few days later and other bay had plugged tip and the pressure reg was working as it was supposed to. Thank you so much. The pump is going out on it too I think after all that. It's turning hard so think I am going to replace it.

I don't know what you're trying to say with that. It seems you were suggesting the regulator/unloader is defective; I'm agreeing with someone saying that there could be complete blockage in the line and an unloader is properly doing its job.

"During this the pump that hadn't been working..the pressure regulator didn't act the same as other..so i changed it out and problem fixed!"

That's why I suggested to check the unloader/regulator. When they let go, the debris goes down the line and causes other problems.;)

I have a larger Cat pump bay that runs my automatic. During high pressure wash the hose used to shake everything and the water pressure would rock the car (gage read 1200 PSI) Now the gage still reads 1200 but far less coming out in bay..more of a softer spray coming out?? Could it be the unloader? It dont seem to pulsate of do any signs of bad pump valves..it holds a constant 1200 psi..HELP!

I was having a problem with soap and wax pressure checked out check valve and i felt it was working, after reading these post i pulled out check valve and put in a swing check which was all i had handy, pressure work perfectly
Thank to all
