Wall Packs...

I have two 175 Watt Metal Halide Wallpacks in each of my Touchless Automatic bays..

I've tried Hubbel, GE Luminaire's, and even cheap knock offs that cost about $85. No matter what, they rot out after a couple of years. FWIW, the GE's seem to last longer.

What works best for you? I'm tired of replacing WallPacks....

We have used Lithonia Lighting wall packs without much trouble. Did have a lens break on one of them in a IBA bay.

I have used Ruud wallpacks for a long time with no problems. I have had them inside my IBA's since 2005 and have only changed the bulbs. I have also installed them on the outside walls of other buildings that I have owned and they have basically lasted forever. I had been using 175W but used 100W MH in a new IBA in Jan08. So far I am happy with them too.

LSI makes a 250W MH ceiling-mount fixture that's all stainless with a glass lens. It's around $400.
