• “S”—SECURITY (Priority #1) of the vendor from theft and vandalism is assured by proper design of the steel cabinet, credit card protection, door, and being secured to a concrete pad or to a wall. The current versions of the ShurVend high security vendors have been found to be very effective since 2012.

• “L”& “V”—LOCATION and VISIBILITY are two sides of the same coin and are Priorities #2 & #3 when installing a vendor for high sales volume. Our experience indicates that the best vendor location is in or near the middle of the vacuum area at the end of one of the vacuum islands. The vendor should have “End Aisle” exposure to make sure the customer can see it.

• “P”—PRODUCTS- - The number of items available for selection is Priority #4. Experience over many years has proven that more customer choices always lead to higher sales volume in a vending center.

• “R”---RELIABILITY of the vending machine is Priority #5. Our vendor can operate 24/7/365 requiring very little attention from the owner other than collecting the money and restocking with product. The “Guaranteed Delivery” feature makes the vending experience hassle free for both the customer and the owner.

• “T” & “C”—TIME and CONVENIENCE are Priorities #6 & #7 and are important to the success of a vending center. The unmetered time in the vacuum area where customers spend time vacuuming/detailing their vehicle leads to sales. When a vending product is needed, the customer will buy on “impulse” if the vendor is close by and visible. If not, the “impulse” to buy quickly fades away. That’s money left on the table by the wash operator.
