Vacuum Island Design

Well do to an unfortunate mishap by one of my customers it's time to rethink and redesign my vacuum islands. The damaged one shown in the rear has always been in a terrible location for cars exiting my bays from the rear. I suppose when the wash and lot were built the owner/builder just plopped it down with little thought given to longer vehicles and those with trailers. My thinking is to relocated it 6' back (West) into the grassy area on a pad/curb adjacent to the paved lot with the thought my customers would pull along beside it facing North or South. My other thought would be to relocate it to the SW corner of the rear lot.
Yellow Circles= Current Vac Locations
Green Rectangles = Proposed relocation

My goal it to not have to excavate existing asphalt if possible other than the 5'-6' needed to get the wire into the grass and go from there.

What's your guys thoughts and drop you best SS vac island design or features. Currently a single vac, light pole and well for the trash can to sit in. I have a vision of a sun sail/shade structure to cover the island and a few feet around it but cost may prohibit that, possibly a slanted wall or sheet of stainless angled with mat clamps. Not a huge fan of the trash can lids with the mat clamps.
