Vacuum Cleaner Hose Sources

I know that in the past there have been posts that said that they found better vac hoses than from just limiting themselves to the car wash distributor. Do any of you remember who those companies are? We have an application for both a 1-1/4" hose & a 1-1/2" hose so we are hoping those same outfits have those sizes besides just the multi-colored 2" vac hose.
