Whats the most valuable thing you have found in your Vacuums?Most valuable is the cash!! its always there. 7 vacs every other month, my guy usually pulls about $100. My best was a diamond bracelet, havn't appraised it as with the economy has been we found it right around my wifes bday. wow what a gift!!!!!! last cleaning we found a Tiffany bracelet! always something good though. I hear so many guys just toss it????? dont understand that.

Many years ago I attended a wash and cleaned the vacs every day before I left. I would usually collect about $10 a day just in the silver (I didn't even bother with pennies). Recently I tried to do the same thing; I cleaned and scrubbed all the vac cleanouts one day and started going through them every day like I used to. The most I found in one day (including pennies) was 60 cents. I've gone back to dumping everything.

Money for sure. That's why we all need to keep locks on the vac cleanout doors. I have different people who come to the car wash JUST to look for money on a regular basis. My cameras always pick them up at the same time everday. They are lucky to find 50 cents or $1. If I left my vac doors open, they would wreck havoc on them. They use to cut the mini locks off of the vac doors make a mess, and NEVER close the door. The next customer would be mad, no suction. I now have security covers on the doors with a medico turn lock. Haven't had a problem since.
