It's been about 6 months since my vac pricing went from $1/4min to $2/6min. No regrets! Higher spend, and less mess. My wash was down yesterday for a bit over 2 hours do to a water main issue, but the vac business was steady.
Most other vacs around Cincinnati, Ohio are priced at $1/4min, I've seen 1 wash at $1/3min and at least one gas station at 50cents for I think 4 (maybe 3) min.
Just curious, what you guys are charging and how you decided on the price vs time. For some reason I think there is a big reluctance to move away from the $1/vac, even if it means less time. At 6min my customers have plenty of time to vac without the need to rush.
