Store #3 was bought in July, 2003 and the ShurVend was installed in October, but this time directly into the vacuum island area of the wash. You can immediately see the increase in average monthly sales after the ShurVend was installed when compared to the 3 months of drop shelf sales. You can see sales increases from 2005 to 2009 in the average monthly income over the old drop shelf installation (July-September 2003).
These historical numbers show the increase in vending sales that can be obtained when computer-controlled vendors are installed in the vacuum area of the wash utilizing the Time, Location, Convenience, and the ?Sore Thumb? model of the vending machine forcing the customer to take notice of the vendor, see the convenience, and to ACT on ?impulse? to buy the vending products that are available.
