HEV is the manufacture. The B44 belt is 44 inches long and the "B" is width of the belt, should be about 21/32" wide. This belt is also use on Lawn mowers. I'd buy 2 they aren't very expensive. http://www.vbelts4less.com/B44--B-SECTION-BELT-5L470-_p_14097.html

Randy, a "B" belt is three inches longer than the #, hence a B44 is 47 inches long. An "A" belt uses an equally stupid numbering system, with the belt being two inches longer than the #. I would like for a belt mfr. to explain this moronic system to me and see if they can actually make it make sense.
i ordered the belts from here. seems like their 44 is shorter then HEV. I adjust the pump but cannot put back the safety cover on because it was too short. so i left the cover off.
That’s rather odd. A B-44 belt from one manufacture to another should be the same length. Did you compare the length of the new belt with the length of the belt that broke? They should be pretty close to the same length. Do you have 1 belt or 2 belts on your pumps? I’ve got 2- B-52 belts on the pumping equipment, they are original to the pumping equipment, 32 years old.
